Pembroke Crescent

From 1938, till his death in 1945, David Lindsay lived in Pembroke Crescent in Hove, in a house bought at the instigation of his wife, large enough that they could take in boarders.

On a recent visit to Brighton, I passed through Hove and had a look at the road. Most of the houses are of the right age to have been around in Lindsay's day. Here is a photograph I took to give an idea of the character of Pembroke Crescent:
