Author Craig Herbertson's plea
25 October 2010

Author Craig Herbertson has posted a plea on his Heavenmakers website for more information about the "lost" portion of A Voyage to Arcturus. When Arcturus was published in 1920, publishers Methuen stipulated its name be changed (from Nightspore on Tormance) and that 15,000 words be excised from the original manuscript. What happened to those 15,000 words, of which J B Pick has said: "To put it mildly, the cuts themselves would be more valuable than any other book Methuen published that year"? You can read, and respond, to Herbertson's plea at the Heavenmakers website.
